On the Server

Run in separate memory space

CMS Version 9 and below is a 16-bit application. When running cougar, often times the Operating system gets hung up or does not respond. One solution to a situation like that is to make sure the application is running in separate memory space. To do this follow these instructions.

    Windows XP

  1. Right Click on your Cougar icon
  2. Click on Properties
  3. Under the Shortcut tab Click the Advanced button .
  4. Click the check box 'Run in seperate memory space'
  5. Click ok > Apply > ok

    Windows NT/2000

  1. Right Click on your Cougar icon
  2. Click on Properties
  3. Under the Shortcut tab
  4. Click the checkbox 'Run in seperate memory space'
  5. Click Apply > ok
