CHECKING FOR MIXED VERSIONS

 


Check for mixed versions by going to Help – About Reporting to the MAX.

 

  A window will come up that shows everything you have installed, in the order installed.  Look at the version number at the end of the first line of each installation note.  

 

The first items should all show the same version number, followed by an earlier installation.  For example, you may have several items installed as Version 7, followed by several Version 6.5 and so forth.  But you should NEVER have a Version 7 followed by Version 6.5 followed by Version 7 again.

 

 

If you have mixed versions, reinstall your complete set of CDs and service packs.

This is one cause of a 910  error. for the Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions   The other cause is a  Blank Row in the data file.
