Question:
After client has been installed on a workstation, some or
all of the modules display the following message when they
are opened: The [Module Name] is not installed properly to
allow you to use it. Please run the installation script
which has the [Module Name] in it, and then try running it
again.
Answer:
1. Install Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions onto the
workstation using the CD's, including addons and patches. It
is recommended that you install to the default directory of
C:\cmswin or C:\cmsact.
2. Delete the folder Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions was just
installed into. This is typically the C:\cmswin or C:\cmsact
folder.
3. Rerun the client installation from the server. Make sure
it is installing into the same directory where you
previously installed the CD's.
4. Check the shortcut to verify it points to the correct
location.
5. Verify that the error no longer occurs.
