Copy Company Utility
Use the new Copy company Utility to copy all data files into a
separate Company/Organization Code. This is different than a backup
because it is basically a mirror-image of your company allowing you
to retain a complete record of the company at the end of the year,
or any time you wish to do so. Image files are not automatically
included with the copy to avoid overwriting images without your
knowledge. If you need to copy stock items images, you can do so in
Windows Explore.
One benefit of this utility is that you can create a company copy
to test a new process without the risk of damaging data and possibly
having to restore from your backup.
You can access this utility by selecting Start > All
Programs > Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions > Copy Company Utility
