Question:
Using net use with USB ports, printers and cash drawers does not work properly.

Answer:
The net use command is as follows: net use lpt2:\\Computer\share

Windows 2000 and Windows XP need to have Netbeui installed and the printer needs to be shared.

To install NETBEUI:
1. Right click on My Network Places and select Properties
2. Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.
3. Click on Install, select Protocol and Add.
4. Then select Netbeui (if Netbeui is not there you many need to insert your windows CD.)
5. It may be necessary to put the net use statement in again.
