After reinstalling or upgrading Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions, the customized receipt tape formats are gone.

This is caused when Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions is installed into a new directory because the file that contains the formats has not been moved to the new installation

Resolution

The customized receipt formats can be recovered by copying the CMSTPFMT.cfg from the directory where Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions was previously installed to the new installation directory.

The file CMSTPFMT.CFG is in the main installation folder of Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions. This is usually the CMSWIN, CMSFUND, or CMSACT folder.
 

More Information

This only applies to Point of Sales invoice formats 1-4. Formats 5-7 are Report Writer files and are located in a different location.
