Question:
A Hold-Quote sale in Point of Sale retains the original date
saved to the transaction, instead of using the date of sale when
it is converted back into a regular sale.
This causes an error in
applying accepted accounting practices where a hold/quote is
created in one fiscal period (or year) and is processed as a
sale in another. Hold/Quote type transactions should behave like
those in OE with respect to the handling of the sale date when
they are converted back into a regular sale. The correct date of
any "sale" is the current date in use when the sale is
processed.
