"Full-Cut" code V0 does not work on the new PP-6000 printer.
Question:
The "Full-Cut" code that worked with the PP-4000 printer (V0) does
not work on the new PP-6000 printer.
Answer:
Posiflex has disabled the command code for a full cut. Sometimes
when the unit was set to do a full cut during their testing, the cut
paper would slide down into the mechanism and cause the paper to
jam.
Resolution
Because this compromised the reliability of the printer, a
decision was made to disable that feature. All PP-6000 printers
should be set up with the "Partial Cut" code V1, which leaves a
small section uncut on the center of the receipt tape.
More Information
NSA will be updating their PowerStation 7000 manuals to reflect
this change in the near future.
