Question:
Purging History

Answer:

Purge History

Note
BACK UP YOUR DATA BEFORE PURGING HISTORY. Once you have purged this information, there is no way to retrieve it without a backup. You may want to print a history report before purging so that you have a hard copy of the information.

This utility will remove all history data up through the specified date. If your files have become too large, then purging history is a valuable utility. Unless you are having problems with file size, we recommend that you do not purge history.

  1. Select Purge History from the Period End menu.
  2. Select a cutoff date from the Purge Up Through This Date Drop-down calendar. All items up through, and including the date you specify, are purged.
  3. Select OK to proceed, or Cancel to exit without processing.
