Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions Tech Tip

 Question:
When opening the Order Entry module, the window does not open. When opening the Inventory module, errors are produced. Other workstations may be able to open the modules.

Answer:

A popup blocker called "NoAds" can be configured to stop Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions module windows from opening. Popup blockers are designed to prevent unwanted windows from opening. Spyware blocking programs may prevent certain programs from running. They may also be configured to stop certain local programs from opening their windows.

Refer to the online instructions or documentation provided by the developer of the popup or spyware blocking software. Look for instructions to select the objects that will be blocked. Remove any references to Reporting to the MAX files.

More Information

In general, other modules can be affected, and other popup and spy ware blockers may behave the same way.
