ER - Subsystem insufficient resources Message

Question:

How do I eliminate an win16 subsystem has insufficient resources message?
 

Possible Causes:

What's Probably Occurred:

 

What Needs to Happen:

I'm not sure this is related but we had trouble getting 2 of  our
workstations to be compliant with CMS requirements for Free memory.
Check in a DOS  cmd window:

type mem/c

CMS wants minimum of 590 k for largest executable program size.

Some machines will not give you this much free mem due to hardware /
firmware issues. We had to play around with loading program and drivers in
different order in autoexec.nt and config.nt files.

Hope this helps. If you still can not get this 590 K then just try it on a
different machine. With todays prices of computers as low as they are">

Hope this helps. If you still can not get this 590 K then just try it on a
different machine. With todays prices of computers as low as they are, it is
not worth the trouble to try making it work. We had 3 machines with over 600K 
free and our Server and a WS with below 560K free!
