Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions for
Windows® Version Compatibility Chart
Listed are the Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions for
Windows® application versions.
These versions are only compatible with
their release group. For example, Version 4.0F and Version 4.0E were released in the same
group. Older versions cannot be installed to new versions, and any mix and match of
versions is not supported. For example, if Accounting for Windows® Version 4.0E is
installed with Payroll for Windows® Version 4.0D, and then Accounting for Windows®
Service Pack Version 4.0F is installed, Payroll for Windows® Service Pack Version 4.0E
must also be installed (see chart below).
"Load Me Last" disks have been
created to release the latest corrections when the creation of new masters is not feasible
due to product development issues. The "Load Me Last" disks are ONLY shipped
with new orders and are ONLY compatible with the current shipping version, which is
Version 4.0F and 4.0E*. Existing customers needing to upgrade to the current version can
still receive the "Load Me Last" files by downloading the Service Packs from our
FTP site. Only the current version Service Pack is maintained on our FTP site. A
"Load Me Last" install executable will be placed on our FTP site for download to
eliminate the need to download the Service Pack files only to obtain the latest "Load
Me Last" files. The release date of this "LML" install executable will be
announced.
