the installation reaches 90%, then Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions
generates an error stating: an error caused an access
violation in cmsvers.exe This error occurs when attempting
to install the ddeml.dll file.
This error occurs when installing on a computer with XP
professional, however, it may occur on other operating
systems.
Resolution
- During the installation a prompt will appear asking
if you would like to install the users guide. Click No
- When the error appears, click Cancel and the
installation will continue.
