Overview
Credit card swipes fall into two basic types,
stand alone or integrated into a keyboard or other device.
The stand alone types need to be mounted or have a heavy base installed
to keep it from moving around.
Each reader can read track 1, 2 or
both tracks.

Installation of a swipe is usually done
similarly to bar code reader by using a wedge which is a Y-splitter
