UTICMS05-RUN UTICMS.EXE TO RESET BATCH POSTING FLAG for the Reporting to the MAX

Occasionally, a batch file gets a partial posting status.   One technique to be able to be able to delete this batch is to use UTICMS.EXE to change the batch status to zero.   Once this is done, you can delete the batch in a normal manner.   As always, a backup of all files or the files involved in advance of using any advanced tech solution.

As with any non-standard activity, a copy of the file should be made or an extra backup made just prior using any of these special techniques.   In addition, a control report, trial balance or other such balancing report should be run before and after using any of these advanced solutions.    (gps)
