Question:
A Type Mismatch error is received when saving an invoice in Accounts Payable

 

Answer:
The Regional Settings in Windows are not set up correctly.

Resolution

Check the regional settings for Short Date Format set to MM/dd/yyyy and Location set to English (United States).

1. Click on Start, Settings and select Control Panel
2. Select Regional Options.
3. Click on the General Tab.
4. The "Your locale (location):" should be English (United States).
5. Click on the Date Tab.
6. The short date style should be "MM/dd/yyyy"
7. The long date style should be "dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy"
