Candidate Qualifications:

• College Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance and/or
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in programming Microsoft Access or Visual Basic applications
• Some understanding of web based, palm based, client server, and e-commerce technologies
• Expertise in developing relational databases including tables and relationships
• Able to create well designed and professional looking forms and report with VBA code behind the objects
• Experience in developing financial, business, accounting, inventory, bar code, or engineering applications
• Adherence to industry standard software methodologies including design, programming, testing, and debugging
• Friendly, team-player philosophy – Able to work with all kinds of people
• Good writing and verbal communication skills. Abilities to plan schedules and meet deadlines

Duties Include:

• Analyze customer requirements, internal documents, and competing products for new enhancement ideas
• Design tables, forms, reports and business processes to satisfy customer requirements
• Write VBA programs using Microsoft Access97 and 2000, DAO/ADO, and ActiveX Controls
• Create SQL Server tables and use stored procedures and triggers to create client/server solutions
• Test and debug software and work with quality assurance group to fix problems in software
• Assist documentation group to create user guides for new features
• Perform technical support to customers as needed on areas of expertise
• Work with team members to prioritize, plan, and schedule enhancements and product releases
