Introduction This productivity tool is to handle existing sales, prior prospects and new customer acquisitions.   It will assist the telemarketer with prioritizing/scheduling calls for the optimum time to reach each customer, dial the call, give the sales history, suggest other products to offer based on what similar customers have purchased highlighting items on special

 

Prior Sales History Weekly, the sales history will be extracted into several databases optimizing fast access
  1. Customer's prior sales history (last sale and cumulative sales)
  2. Recap of prior sales history by SIC code
  3. Recap of sales history by each product, what other products those customers bought.  (e.g..  if customers who bought a hammers, what other items did they purchase prioritized by sales dollars
Quote File Create a quote file any item quoted but not sold so that any item previously quoted is tracked
Prospect Lists Create a database with prospects from purchased lists from all sources for new customer prospecting
 

Contact List

Create a Contact List for each prospect with extension numbers and best days/times to call so the salesperson can get through the to the right person quickly and if they aren't available, have some alternates
Notes List Create a salesperson notes list for each prospect/contact to assist the salesperson get a sale by knowing what has transpired before
Salesperson DB Create a database file on each salesperson with their call preferences and privileges
Manager DB Create a database file on each manager with their call preferences, salespersons supervised and personal/managerial privileges
SIC Code DB Create a database with most of the 4 & 6 character SIC codes
SIC Product List Create a database with the stock numbers that each SIC code purchases (to be built both from history and manually)
Catalog List Add fields to Catalog list for alternates especially for discontinued and out of stock items
Catalog Script Create a database with pop-up script for each catalog item
Campaign Script Create a database with 1 or more scripts for each SIC on a campaign
   
   
   
Security Make sure that the information that each salesperson and manager can access is limited to what the company defines
Flexibility Provide for the flexibility to assist pro's and newbee's with additional flexibility of special salespersons needs/preferences
Reports Detailed & summarized reports by salesperson, manager, catalog item and by SIC Code
TimeZones Prioritize calls by timezones and be able to select to work in a timezone
