Stone Assumes Leadership Role at Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions

March 8, 2005 BOISE, IDAHO –Reporting to the MAX including Point of Sale and Non-profit Versions today announced the promotion of Jim Stone to Chief Operating Officer. Stone took on the role of Director of Marketing in April of 2004.

Stone will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Boise-based publisher of accounting and point of sale software.

Reporting to the MAX President and CEO Bob Gossett said Stone brings to the position more than 20 years of business and marketing experience in the accounting software industry. “We are looking to Jim to develop innovative programs that will allow Reporting to the MAX to continue as one of the leading publishers of accounting software for small to medium-sized businesses. I am particularly proud of our accounting software for nonprofits (Reporting to the MAX FUND Accounting), and I know Jim will work to increase our share of this growing segment of the accounting software market.”

Stone has worked in a number of capacities within the industry, with entry-level accounting products through large enterprise software suites, in roles including sales, marketing and product management. In addition, he spent five years in implementation consulting.

According to Stone, increasing customer satisfaction by providing greater service levels, additional educational opportunities, new products, and strengthening Reporting to the MAX’s network of trained resellers will be among his first goals as COO.

As Director of Marketing, Stone oversaw all marketing programs including corporate positioning, market research and integration, channel development and product development. Stone drove the development and implementation of lead-generation programs, advertising campaigns, and public relations development that led to an increase in revenue of over 30%.

Stone has held sales, marketing and product marketing roles with international high-tech vendors including Oracle and Systems Union, where he held global responsibility for the SunSystems product line.
