To do a blank line options
  1.  <cntl>C and a period and then change the invoice print program to print the period in white so its invisible
  2. Item one but use a hot key like <F12> and a program called Macro Express $40 non-copy protected to do above step with one key stroke ($30 for me to setup)
  3. add a blank line on all items automatically
  4. Use <ALT> and a 3 digit number to enter some thing that wouldn't print
  5. Use Macro Express to do item 4 with one keystroke
  6. Set up a non-inventory code 91-99 code and then have the invoice printing format, just print a blank line..

 

 

Auto Format Comments

If this check box is selected, then comments that are entered in the sales entry window will be automatically formatted to use the minimum number of detail lines. The maximum of 45 characters is allowed for comments and anything above this amount will be truncated (cut off).

If the check box is left blank, then you can create blank lines in Comment

sections by pressing ENTER when you are typing the comment. The comment will appear in the sales entry window exactly like it does in the OE Comment Editor window.

 

The problem with this is if you go over 45 characters in the comment field, the excess is truncated without any notice. 
 
With the auto format on, it automatically splits a comment lines into multiple 45 character lines.
