Description:
Release 2.01 is a pure XML Wrapping, Compression, and base64 Encoding
Solution, which facilitates the encapsulation of files in pure XML
to make them indexable and manageable.
Batch
Processing & Metadata Management - metaPackager™ fully supports batch
packaging functionality. Batch fully supports all other processes and methods
available by packager, including compression and password protection. In seconds
you can store and archive legacy documents of any type in an XML package that can
be easily indexed and found!
MetaPackager’s
Find Package Module allows you to search for and browse for packages. The Search
allows for fielded searching of archives based on metadata schemas that are
common or that you create. Metadata stored in the XML Package can be queried.
Compression & Encryption - metaPackager™ fully supports inline
compression and decompression of files added to a metadata package. This feature
is as flexible as possible. You have the option of selecting which files in a
package to compress or password protect, if any. This flexibility provides a
secure and manageable document management solution.
This is a fully functional 15-day evaluation.

Instructions for installation:
- Close all Office programs that are running.
- Click on the “Install This Software Now!”
link above.
- Follow the instructions on your screen. The wizard will guide you through installation.
- Please review the product user guide named metaPackager2.doc
in Word 97 format.
To remove this software:
- Go to the Windows 'Control Panel' and open
'Add/Remove Programs.'
- Select HiSoftware metaPackage
in the list.
- Click on 'Remove' and follow the
instructions.
